I have had this for 2 weeks now.
Hand carved spruce on top
Hand carved maple on back and side
mahogany neck, ebony fret board
Ken Armstrong pickups with custom made pickup mount! (ebony)
14" lower and I think it's 2" depth which is usual Victor Baker archtop size.
And no center block wood, so it's full hollow body.
I didn't really like satin finish before I got this guitar.
This satin finish looks just beautiful.
I don't have a camera. This picture is taken by my old ipod touch.
I will post more pictures later on.
The tone... yeah it's awesome.
Really warm and deep, yet has clear definition.
When played acoustic, it just makes me wanna play even without amp.
plays so effortlessly. For a long time, I had used yamaha sa2200 which is a great guitar, but i think i, gonna sell it.
I'm so happy now

That is an elegant looking guitar, stunning in its simplicity. Perfect size, too.
-
I think your Victor Baker looks great! If you could post a sound clip, that would be great too! Congrats on your new guitar!
-
It looks amazingly elegant, so beautiful, the whole look reminds me of Moffa guitars. I hope you will enjoy your new acquisition.

Wow that looks great! Victor Baker makes some great guitars, one day I'll be able to afford one.
Enjoy your new guitar.

Love it...just gorgeous...

Congrats, great looking guitar and I'm sure it sounds terrific too! Do post clips when you get the chance...

Awesome guitar! I've been looking at his stuff lately, and he's making beautiful instruments, at very reasonable prices. Seems like a good guy to work with, too (I've emailed him a few times).
Congrats!!

I sent him an email inquiry looking for a small jazz box as an alternative to the Sadowsky SS-15. Anyone can compare the two?
-
Looks great. So does the Sox BP hat.
I think the finish looks just fine on this guitar. What is the binding situation on the body? Hard to tell.
Nice to see really small carved spruce guitars; they do seem to really work very well.
Thanks for the post.

But after I got this in my hand, I think this no binding looks more elegant.
Obviously those binding is extra work. I think it would be charged at least $400 or $500 more for the binding work.

Well in my opinion no binding is also some extra work in super-clean glue lines between the sides and the top/back, and careful finish work on the exposed end grain of the top and back.
Looks really nicely done to me.

I think you are right! I didn't think about it in that way.
Victor did an amazing job on finish.
Thanks so much Chris!

Beautiful guitar! For those who haven't done so, I recommend checking out Victor's website. He documents the guitars he builds with lots of pictures of the process. He uses a mix of computer-controlled carving and hand woodworking that results in some amazing guitars.
I had one of his very early 17" archtops and it was a fine guitar. His newer stuff looks even better.

Very nice! congrats!
is it with T-o-M or with ebony bridge?
-
Yes, it is tuneomatic on ebony bridge.
Thanks Kris!
