Actually, it wasn't the shape that I noticed first, but rather how the back end of the pick didn't extend to or past his thumb, which a 351 should.

This is how much I cut off with my trusty snips. Having looked at stills of the above video, it looks like he rounded the cut to form new shoulders, which I did not do:

I did some straight cuts too, I really enjoy how these feel compared to similar jazz iii sized picks.

Because off this thread, I discovered that its possible to take still images off of youtube! Thanks all's y'all for feeding my obsessive habits

So here's a still from the video in my earlier post. If that pick started life as a regular 351 and if Kreisberg doesn't have huge thumbs, then its definitely chopped:

Franky your image from youtube looks to me like Kreisberg has short nails to pluck chords with, something I've wondered about because I find it difficult to get enough volume just using flesh in comparison with the pick volume so this collective obsession has produced for me something tangible right there - tks!
one thing I've noticed about smaller picks like jazz3's is that they seem better suited (to me) for plucking with the other fingers which Gilad does a lot with his counterpoint stuff
