You Tube clips all seem to be a bit poor wrt sound quality - dry, no bass etc. It will be a 2 hour drive for me to check one out.
Thanks

Yes, I would recommend it. You would have to try it yourself of course. It's a great tool in that it sounds good, is small and light, and is very powerful. It does sound a bit dry perhaps - not as much depth and complexity as my Henriksen - but (with it off the floor) the sound is well balanced. It does not lack bass response.

I bought an EQ Pedal with the amp so maybe I can get it to sound how I like, My guitar tends to be a little to bassy at times anyways. It shipped out today so I'll post my results on the amp later

It's not here yet, but it should be here Monday or Tuesday. I bought an mxr 6 band graphic eq and I also use a Hum-debugger with both my guitars. When it arrives I'll post my impressions about it

I played through a ZT Club and it was interesting. For jazz tone? No, in my humble opinion. Have you ever played the Lunchbox? I've had one for quite a while, and for jazz-clean tone, it's a much better choice. I have an Ibanez AK100, with the Super58 p'ups (identical to Scofield's JSM100 and George Bensons LGB 300), and I get a (uh oh, cliche alert!) warm, strangely 'acoustic' tone, especially when I play with my fingers. It gets really jazzy playing with a plectrum (think, 'C- Smooth/Smoove', a la George Benson). The amp is 'very' responsive to my playing. And she projects. At most average sized-venues, you may not even have to mic' it up or run the line-out. I may have inadvertently given the bassist and keyboardist at praise and worship, a complex. Oh well. The gain control is a lot like a 'nuance'control, and you can dial-in your particular guitar's sound. Incremental adjustments make a huge difference. Of course, the higher the quality of your guitar cable, the better the sound (I use Monster Cable). This amp's a very durable piece of kit. Do not be fooled; this is definitely 'not' a practice amp. Get the padded shoulder bag and she is a breeze to carry. Did I mention that it loves pedals? Even though the Lunchbox can get very hot to the touch, it hasn't affected the amps performance.

So my zt club came yesterday and I spent all day fiddling with it. It sounds fantastic for jazz. The tone sounds best with my Gibson but not as good with my strat. It's warm and punchy, cuts excellently. Also I plugged into a 15" cab and it sounds even better. However I was wondering if I could wire it to use both the internal and the external?

I've seen people running zt clubs through 1x12 cabs and they must be using both speakers or what would be the point of doing that? I've seen 2 clubs wired together.
-
I'd be surprised if you can't use both speakers as you can turn the speaker on and off on the lunchbox (useful when playing RIDICULOUSLY loud).
Yeah there is a speaker on and off switch, surely that lets you run both speakers?

I read the manual the zt club is not able to use both internal and external speakers

Hi guys
I've a problem, I play a 8 string guitar and I need an amplifier light for to play with another acoustic instruments, like violin or clarinet without amplification. I'm wondering just between these two amplifiers, I need bass sounds clear and concise, using low power at the amplifier not to exceed the acoustic instruments and that the analog distortion effects and other running smoothly. Could you help me please in my election?
Thanks so much and sorry for my poor English

Or Roland Cube 80XL?

You know I gave zt club sometime and thought I liked it, but it just doesn't preform the way I wanted it too, this amp would probably be great for an acoustic player or something like. I ended up returning it and buying a deluxe 90 and a blues junior on craigslist. I'm alot happier with those, in the end I really should of listened to you guys.
Luna 200 Combo, Quilter Aviator Cub, Or Blu 6?
