I hate Chromes, just my opinion, i restrung my Allan Holdsworth Carvin with them and the tension was incredibly high, when I got my Eastman Archtop everyone on here swore to use the Thomastik Infelds, and they were right, when i was using the Chromes, they were 10's and very tight, now on my Eastman i have TI JS113, .013's and they are great, and on my Ibanez AS200 i have JS112 .12's and i couldn't be happier with the flatwounds and the tension, i cant imagine playing any other strings....

No worries - JustStrings . com is a great e-tailer and you can purchase from them with confidence. Very odd about the intonation - I'll speak with a few of the R&D folks to see if they've hear more in this regard.
We appreciate the comments. There are a lot of string brands out there. Thomastik makes a great jazz selection - it's always amazing when you find a string that works on a particular guitar. You can always reach me directly at [email protected]

Let me correct that, I just find that the Chromes tension was a little too high for me, Hate is a strong word, like Don says, i enjoy thomastiks on my Ibanez AS200, its a perfect match for ME, although Scofield and many others love D'addarios, never know until u try something....to each their own
