I should give the SC64 another shot one day. I had one in a Headstrong Lil King but I found it too dark for the Princeton circuit. Probably great in a Deluxe.

Quick follow-up: I ended up grabbing an Eminence EM12N. It’s sounds wonderful so far—I trust that trend will continue as it breaks in.

I have no idea how the neo EM12N compares to a proper EVM12L, but ignorance is bliss. And my back likes it.

If you can find a JBL 123 they are sweet, I have one in my ‘65 Deluxe Amp. Can be found for around $180.
