Forgive me is this is not appropriate to post here. I am thinking of buying this guitar, but I’m not sure about archtops/heritage values. I’m looking for a good “couch guitar” to play acoustically and occasionally plug in.

is this a fair price? (Seems like it is). It has been on reverb for a while now, so I’m wondering what I’m missing here.

Yep I’d say that’s a good price. I’m a big fan of Heritage guitars, especially the ones from the 90s and early 2000s. Let’s put it this way: try to find an American made all carved archtop for less money than that!

Perhaps it’s the relatively plain appearance that’s been keeping buyers away.

Looks like a beauty to me! I see that someone made an offer on it.

Looks bery nice to me and I'd say that's a good price. Maybe the dot inlays are not appealing to those who like no inlays or like big block MOP/abalone ones. Granted the video is of a different guitar, but that sound is good. This is a guitar you might not outgrow no matter how good you get. Offer $2200 and see if they bite, you might get an even better deal.

Offered $2100 and they accepted! Was second guessing myself, appreciate the input from folks here!

Nice guitar, it would be the Heritage equivalent of an L5 Studio IMO...

No. Nothing in common with a Studio. The Heritage is completely acoustic. It looks to me that the Heritage has a back of Mahogany. Most of these had Mahogany top, back and sides. Someone paid extra to add a Spruce top.

Those sold 10 years ago for $1200. I had one for a few weeks. All the Studios have dual Humbuckers.

That was a very sweet deal for one with a spruce top.

Great guitar, great price. I had a similar instrument that had no fretboard inlays, just pure, black ebony. Spruce and mahogany. You got a deal. Enjoy it!
