50s vs 60s P-90 Pickups

I’m looking at vintage Gibson p90s and 60s pickups seem to be more available and affordable than 50s. I’ve played ES125s from the 50s and love the pickup, and I’m wondering how much different the pickups from the 60s are.

I had a '60s 125 and a '60s 125tc, both with the original p90s. They sounded great.

It's always so hard to say for sure with pickups as it's more down to the individual one. They varied so much. Number of turns vs magnet grade, pole material 1008 vs 1010 CRS etc. The main trend seems to be(at all companies) that alnico 5 became more consistently the standard magnet in the late 50s and onward. There are surely real gems in both decades.
