Philippe Bosset/Newtone - String Tensions

Hi guys,

Hoping someone out there has some info on the string tension for various gauges of either;

A. Philippe Bosset Soft Brass 80/20s

B. Newtone Archtop Double Wounds

Trying to figure out which gauge of each to buy based on tension. I've already contacted both but haven't heard anything back.

Appreciate all insights anyone can give!

I can't tell you the exact tension but i have used both.Neither string felt stiff to me,the Newtones are kind of like Thomastik in that if you buy 12's the set will feel more like 11's.Comparing the sound of the strings acoustically,i would give the Bosset a slight edge.
