Im enduring a forced period of no gigs/workshops etc due to an eye condition. hopefully it will be sorted in the next six months or so. Ive spent some of my spare time playing with various apps and iPad amp sims as well as getting around to consolidating a repertoire of tunes I can play or have previously worked on and need brushing up.

my current setup is main iPad with Stage traxx for backing tracks, pdfs YouTube etc and a seperate iPad (an old iPad mini) with AmpliTube attached to an interface (Evo 4) for my guitar. Both iPads feed into a small mixer and out to a pair of powered studio monitors.

It’s a fairly compact setup but obviously a bit more involved than just guitar and amp, excluding a pedal board if i choose to use one.

My question is could this approach be used for small cafe/bar type gigs and what, if anything, i could to to get it ready for solo gigging? ie a PA to replace the studio monitors for example?

Has anyone else gone down this route?
