Hello
What would you recommend as nylon strings to reduce squeaks, when moving around the fretboard on a nylon acoustic?
I know Technique also play a role, but was wondering if you know some good nylon strings that naturally reduces it.

I have been using Aquila Ambra 2000 on my one classical guitar ,squeaking has not been a problem.Love the tone and sweet vibrato these strings produce.

Great, I will check those out. Thank you

Joe Pass recommended touching the side of your nose or scalp to get a little bit of an oily substance on your fingers to reduce squeaks.
Not a joke. He said that at a master class at the Great American Music Hall in SF.

There are a several "noiseless" classical strings out there. Here's another one:

Gene Bertoncini used the LaBella 413P. Nice sounding strings that I used them for years, have recently been using D'Addario Pro Arte and liking those too- but there are some squeaks.

Thanks for your replies, I will check those out too

D’Addario used to make a recording set. Very low wound string noise. I don’t know if they’re available.
