My apologies to younger players and readers from outside the U.S. from where this legend was well known. Although his main job was foiling bad guys with wing man Baba Looey, he was also a virtuoso of guitar...of course im talking about Quick Draw Mcgraw (Known to his friends as QD) . Long before Django dazzled the world playing with missing fingers QD was making it work with a hoof! This is his actual guitar given to me by Baba Looey after QD passed (all the ones he broke were props) I believe this is the first time its been seen in public and I expect to hear from the Met any day. Please enjoy these rare pics and you can see their adventures on Utube my fave is "lambchops"
In addition this guitar was made in CHINA!!! probably Ming dynasty.
    apologies for sideways pics

Here’s one of my early inspirations, playing what was widely rumored to be the famous white L-5ES (the only one ever made). Notice the unusual 3 knob control scheme, the unadorned Masonite fingerboard, and the very rare hourglass headstock.

It’s been lost for decades. If it ever resurfaces, I’ll bet it tops $15M.

Authentication is easy. It has a unique pattern of quacks in the finish.
