    Hofner Jazzica maybe. 16 fret neck. You need Hammertone for the weight.

    Höfner New President or Jazzica. Both models have carved spruce tops, 16th fret neck/body joints, and are lightweight. Just under 16" wide. Later New President models have 22 fret necks. Well within your budget. Only available used or NOS, because Höfner hasn't made any hollow archtop guitars in Germany since 2018, went into bankruptcy proceedings in December 2025, and has just been purchased by GEWA/Thomann, who have no future plans to make any hollow archtop guitars in Germany.
