I bought a new version of the Tc Electronic Ditto 2 looper.
A very nice looper and much more precise than the first version.

How do you mean "precise"?

What is the Ditto 2 doing differently?

Amazon reviews of the Ditto 2 say:
Snap Loop Feature Not Available in the U.S.! The app is gone!
Reviewed in the United States on October 7, 2025
"Do not buy this product if you are in the U.S. If you're like me, the snap loop feature is an important feature of this product. To use snap loop, you need to bluetooth connect to your phone and turn it on with the app. Guess what? the app isn't available in the U.S. the TC rep told my Sweetwater rep that Behringer's parent company that makes it pulled the app down from the app stores in the U.S. and they don't know when (if ever) it will be available again. I've purchased many items from TC Electronic in the past and although customer service (Music Tribe) is not user friendly, the product made up for it. Not so here. What a disappointment! without the app, it's no better than the Ditto Looper that first came out except for the single tap feature, but without snap loop, it's a waste. I have the Trio+, which I bought for another purpose and found it's looper to be very forgiving and accomplishes the same thing that the snap loop feature does - without a damn app!"
And....
Bluetooth sync fails
Reviewed in the United States on August 30, 2025
"Though it works fine in ditto mode and with default options in "user mode," some important features are only adjustable using the app. That'd be fine (it's by design), except that it's Bluetooth pairing does not work. So much for all the hype; good features and performance, but if it doesn't function as advertised, it isn't worth the dollars spent."

1.The Ditto 2 has a very good precision button.

Yesterday I spent half the night practicing in Snap mode-it"s fine.
I plug in and play without using an external app.

I haven't watched the video you posted, what does "Snap" mode do?

Then there is the simplest looper.

This is a great looper, and I"ll try to make a recording of how creatively I use it.

I have both versions. The bigger one is easier to use and has more features. I haven’t noticed any differences in terms of its core function.
EDIT - I’m an idiot. This is a new version.

New ditto 2 is also small.

Kris, I've been using the Ditto Stereo a lot for standard gigs mostly looping whole choruses. The only thing which disturbed me was that the switch was kind of noisy, even had singers complaining that the mechanical "click" when switching on/off was too loud.

The switch of the Ditto 2 is absolutely quiet and very precise.

Are you thinking of the X2? The number of versions is a little confusing.
