I'm trying to figure out why there are 2 - 3 way toggles on my archtop kit. the kit is a Chinese acoustic electric with 3 prewired pots and 2- 3 way toggles.
I assume one toggle is for pup selection. I don't know what the 2nd toggle is for. its a relatively inexpensive kit. The box is already predrilled.
I'll post a pic.
Any help would be appreciated.

You could use each to turn on a pickup and then split coil.

Are there enough holes? Otherwise maybe they just miscounted.

Install it, but don’t connect it to anything. When the bar / restaurant owner asks you to turn down, make a big show of flipping the switch “from high to low.”

You can always use a $0.25 black plastic hole-plug from the hardware store.

Coil tap, series / parallel, 'sweet' tap switch, fake 'demographic modulator' switch, mute switch, Buckethead 'stutter' button . . . the options are only limited by your imagination (and your soldering skill).
