I have some of the Benedetto picks. They sent a pack to me for free, when I signed up for the Benedetto owners' club.

Are those 358 or 354 shape? I can't tell from the pics or description on the website.

    358 pick but extra heavy?-pxl_20260324_172613160-jpg
The Benedetto pick beside a standard Fender pick. It's thicker than the Fender Heavy.

Good to know, I would definitely think twice about paying several thousand dollars for a guitar if no free perks such as picks or a guitar strap were included.

I've never received a strap with a commissioned guitar. Steve Andersen sent supplied a couple of cool t-shirts with a guitar I ordered from him.

358, I'm pretty sure. The Benedettos are probably be my favorite relatively inexpensive picks.

I don't see anything on their website about an owners' club. Does it still exist?

    Hey, t-shirts are even better!

No, membership declined greatly and it fizzled out after they stopped giving members free picks.

I have no idea. I did that some years ago.

OK, I ordered the Benedettos, a 10 pack, reasonably priced. I'm cool with the thickness, however they are slightly larger across than the 358s and don't fit my well worn grooves. Close enough I think I can eventually adapt, but because I use the pick upside down, the extra width is discernible.

I appreciate the other suggestions here, and will try others. There used to be Gibson branded picks years ago and they had a fungible pick to the Fender 358 Extra heavy...I lost the last of its kind years ago.

I'm sorry to keep replying to people in this thread but I still have no clear answer. Since you have the picks maybe you can tell me once and for all. You say these picks are slightly wider than a 358. Is that because they are actually 354s? I am seeking extra heavy 358s.

I sell 358s in 1.22mm as The J Ashley Co on Instagram and Reverb. (Hope it’s ok to post this)

Interesting. I find them to be the exact same size and shape as the Fender 358s. Maybe we have Fender 358s of a different vintage?

For anyone following this thread I can vouch for the J Ashley Co stuff. Ordered a bag of extra heavy 358s and they are on-point.

I've used 358 heavies for many years - but only white - there's two types of white: completely opaque and another that shows a little depth - that's the good one. Lately I've been using a little JD205 teardrop that's a bit thicker. Can't see that Blue Chip would make me sound any better so I'll keep my $$$.
