Greetings:
Somewhere I have seen a post about gig bags for larger archtops. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks for your help.

Amazon.com
Fits my barney kessel and heritage eagle. It's a gator GL Jumbo, this place sucks for posting links

I use this for my 17", 3 3\8" depth archtop, it is the biggest one i 've found.

In my case i can use a normal classical guitar gig bag for it. It would be better a bigger more padded one. But the normal one fits.

Indeed the Gator Jumbo. I bought one in the past year and it easily fits my Heritage GE and like all dreadnoughts. It was way cheaper than the Mono bag. I think I bought it from Sweetwater. It depends though on how you are intending to use it. Probably not for air travel or real heavy use. I use it to get to jams and walking around music camps. Should work fine at it's price point.

I strongly recommend that you keep an expensive archtop guitar in a strong hard case. I could search for and post pictures of fine guitars that were crushed in gig bags, but I'm not going to.

Not sure if they're sold seperately, but worth checking into.

Most jumbo flattop (J-200 etc) bags will fit a 17" archtop nicely. Just check the interior length. Many archtops have longer headstocks.

I just bought the banjo version of that for my Richeliu jazz plectrum. Cross between a hard case and a gig bag, great lightweight protection.
