Curiosity got the best of me.

Just plugging in with everything at noon/reverb to taste, it's instantly a great sound.

Was seriously tempted but not ready to give up my Evans. Would love to have both but can't justify the $$$

I don't know how old you are, but your back and arms would thank you.

I'm 80 but my Evans only weighs 27lbs and doesn't get moved often.

Ah, the Evans are great amps if you are not carrying it a lot. I don't remember the model I had, but I thought it was closer to 30 lbs, but icbw.

Picked up an open box Bud Ten a couple weeks ago at the same discount price.

Excellent. Portable, sounds great. I used to be tube only guy but have great success with both my Acoustic Image Clarus 2r and now this Bud 10. I think I prefer this Henriksen. A little warmer and more portable as a grab and go one piece unit. The headphone out and Bluetooth features put it way ahead of anything else in my amp collection for home use. That plus useful EQ, DI, two inputs, effects loop, sound and portability combination make it a terrific piece of equipment. My go to amp at least for while.
