Just look at the finish on this top, it's gorgeous... That 175 looks like its been hanging in a damp basement for a long time. Tarnished tuners and rusty pickup screws. I don' know , jpeg for jpeg I prefer this one and it's a 165 !

If you take into account the shipping on the 175, a new nut, fret levelling etc it comes to about the same price and since the 165 's asking is 3.9k, it could possibly be had for less. Also, in my area, 165s are rare I've seen a dozen 175 but only the one 165 and I can try that one as opposed to buy without hands on evaluation for all the others. Seller's away for holidays so we'll wait and see.

Hahaaa bro. I think this came out wrong, but some might actually agree with the way it was written!
Kidding aside, thank you for bringing me up..
I can honestly say, I loved playing the floater 165 acoustically. It had a very unique tone that was brought out when played in a spirited manner. It was as if there was a limiter built into the construction that kept the tone at “level perfect” no matter how hard you played it. Sort of like the Gibson Tal Farlow’s I’ve been blessed with over the years..
    Thanks again bro.
