Anyone know of a source of rosewood saddles that will drop in to replace the Tune O Matic base on a ES175.

Just to be clear, looking for a saddle I can drop on to my Gibson Tune o matic base that’s matched to my top already.

    Would either of these work?

I probably have one I made sitting around here it would be shop worn but the same post opening and a Gibson ARB-1. Send me a pm assuming you live in the US. The other option is to buy a complete saddle are rosewood bridge available from many places. Then removed saddle fill the hole with a dowel and redrill it to correct spacing that actually is very easy to do. It is best with a drill press but actually any good drill will work if you take you time.

Hard to tell since neither shows the specs for the distance between the posts. Stewmac also has a TOM version, but the bridge bases are visibly different. An e-mail to them might be reasonable.

Or just file the holes out to fit the bridge post spacing. The ones that I have were very close to fitting without filing. I got them off EBay. Perfectly adequate IMHO.

I would be surprised if Stew Mac couldn’t answer that question

I just wanted to try a wood saddle. I think I like the way it looks after putting it on. Plus it doesn't rattle like an ABR1!

Has it affected the sound or feel of the play in anyway?

No. I thought maybe it would be darker. But I honestly don't hear a bit of difference.
