I'd like a 175 with 1.75" nut, ebony fretboard. If Gibson offer it, I'd be tempted Joe. I need more room, and can get by without ebony. It's more of a want thing. Happy new year brother!

So easy. Just get a luthier to replace the neck on an ES-175 with a custom neck built to your specifications. If you can live with rosewood, he can re-use the existing fretboard and just widen it a bit with marginally thicker binding or added thin rosewood veneer on either side of the existing board.

Stay well buddy!

I have recently contacted Gibson Customer Service for identification/ specifications of my ES175. Today I received an email from them containing interesting information.
My guitar was made at the Custom Shop in Nashville. Were all ES175 guitars made in Nashville in 2004? I have read somewhere that at some point ES175 production was moved to Memphis.
I also asked Gibson Customer Service if they knew how many Steve Howe Signature model ES175s were made, but they did not have any data on production numbers for this guitar, only for the "Limited Edtion" models.

When did Gibson establish the 'Custom Shop'? I think mine predate it, but they did do custom. For some coin.
