Can you cast your experienced eyes over this? It's a peerless renaissance standard, 2008, which I expected to be laminate. The top, laminate or not, is a single grain pattern. I expected to see clear laminations in the pick up hole, but it isn't so clear. What do you think?

Descriptions say its not solid but its hard to say. They might have done a nice job finishing the edges and the finish hides the layers?

There seems to be a massive brace running down the center of the guitar. Though the top looks like laminate to me - I believe I see four or five layers - I think you'd have to get away from the center brace and see whether the grain of the inside of the top matches or doesn't match the grain on the outside of the top.

I think it might just be good finishing, which is encouraging in itself

I can't see any layers, but I suspect you're right. I need to get one of those little dentist mirrors and have a look inside.

It’s a Peerless? It’s either a solid top or a laminate.
