My GB10 is probably the last guitar I would let out of my possession. A top notch instrument in every way. Congratulations!

MIJ Ibanez GB10's are amazingly consistent, high quality jazz boxes.

Play that beautiful 2010 sunburst in good health.

I've owned one, almost 40 years ago, and miss it (sweet memories).

i have a 78 that suffered from pickguard rot. i had it replaced and the second pickup removed. it's like a mini johnny smith with the most comfortable neck. great fun with a deluxe reverb.

I just got this brand new GB10 from TMZ for $2500 + tax.
l am used to L-5’s and S400’s so this feels really small.
Japan build quality is awesome. I would love to see the return of the GB20.

Boy, look at the fit and finish of that! Ibanez really does an extremely nice job on their high-end models.

The pickups are hot enough that you can roll the volume down to 5 and still have good output to the amp. In the middle of the range, you get that nice, clear and warm sound which is generally where I keep it on mine. Run the volume up to about 8 (and turn down the amp accordingly) and the tone shifts more towards that bright, popping GB tone. There is an amazing amount of versatility in these guitars.

Is that aluminium foil we can see in the lower bout F hole, on the neck tone pot?
It's funny because I had that on a used Ibanez AS200 from 1980, and thought it was the previous owner who did that.
So obviously they do that at the factory ?

My AF207 came from the factory with both pots wrapped elegantly in foil. Every FujiGen guitar I’ve ever had came that way. Assembly, wiring, and shielding were impeccable.

I’ve preserved that foil when working on the guitars. The AF now has a push-pull coil split pot for the Benedetto B7 that I put in it, and it looks factory built inside. Needless to say, the shielding is very effective.
