This guitar had a gassed pickguard but other than that it seems okay.Last edited by Navigator; 10-24-2025 at 11:09 AM.

I call that well loved, not beaten. Well loved guitars make me wonder how and why it and the owner parted company. The mystery adds to the music and the vibe of the guitar I think.

Exquisitely put, I'd like to think it was used for 20 years in a smokey Tokyo Jazz bar

Yep, and the owner might have had one instrument, that one, and loved it above his other worldly possessions, and then he died and the family, just wanting the money, sold it.

I either case, cool guitar!

Nothing sad about a guitar being loved and passed on. Better than the pick guard destroying it as it sits under a bed for years.
