    Hi everyone,
Im having trouble finding anybody that sells the mounting hardware for the Dearmond Rhythm Chief 1100 pickup. I’m not looking for the monkey on a stick contraption. It’s what Guild uses now for their reissue pickups. Guild doesn’t seem to sell them as a separate option and I’m having trouble finding anyone else who sells them.

If anyone has any leads, I’d appreciate it.

    Thanks.

Do you have a reissue pickup or a vintage original? The arms are slightly different sizes.

Really? This is for an original. I had hoped they were the same.

Yep, I just went through this recently. The reissue is a little bit different and a vintage one won’t fit well (it will be loose). I don’t know where you can find just a vintage neck mount bracket. When I was looking to buy a rhythm chief, I specifically set out to find one with the neck mount (which weren’t nearly as plentiful as the monkey on a stick).

ThatRhythmMan, Guitars N Jazz, and Archtop.com are all places that are worth contacting.

If loose you can try wrapping a thin layer of tape on it but just enough as you don't want the tape to bunch up of course.

I have mounted vintage ones on the reissue rods several times. You can adjust the tightness of the "grip" on the originals.

EDIT: wait I think that can only be done on the FHC and 1000 where the cover is removable. Either way I've never had an issue with the vintage ones on the reissue rods.

Anyway, looks ike Jason Combs makes them. $45, sized for the vintage pickups.

I’m checking out this website and it’s certainly very detailed but for the life of me I can’t find anything about buying these arms. Can you link to the actual page where it has this?

It's an educational website (which has not been updated in 3 years) but he provides links to sellers: Links | musicpickups.com

I saw the links page, but didn't see any that seem to lead to mounting rods, other than possibly ebay. ISTR that I bought some there a few years ago, but didn't see any a couple of days ago.
