[UPDATE] I shot a new vid and played with my thumb instead of a pick. Also, I wrapped the strings between the bridge and tailpiece in cloth tape to dampen any sympathetic vibrations. I'm still hearing some string noise on the A string. Kind of buzzy and indistinct. The G string is much clearer. Just doesn't sound right to me. Your thoughts?
[PREVIOUS POST] I got my guitar back from an otherwise very skilled repairman. After spending some time with it I noticed the A string buzzes. I sent this video to him and he said it's the amp. Except I recorded it direct. I checked waveform in Adobe Audition and there are no signs of clipping or saturation. I'll send it back to him to see if he can fix it. (Car travel is a little challenging due to health issues.) New TI Bensons BTW. Anyhoo, I'd be interested to hear anyone's perspective on this. Thanks for looking.

i will be honest I don't hear a huge buzz at least on this and for some reason your playing the notes on the string seem less than concise. It is almost to me like you are over playing the string with the pick.
Measure the action at the 12th fret that I would want to know to see what your action height is precisely. Then I would want to hear the recording of the guitar without it being plug in at all acoustic only.
Off the top of my head, it does not sound bad or even near bad. It almost sounds like sympathetic vibrations from somewhere else in the guitar. These can sometime only be picked up on certain notes not all and even just one note.

Sounds fine to me. It almost sounds like you're snapping the string against the frets with your pick. How's it sound when playing tunes?

Very possible sympathetic vibration from the guitar, especially at low A (i have no idea why)

Appreciate the replies. I don't think the video captures the essence of it. I'll just send it back and hope for the best.
