Now, this is my kind of place. Have any of JGO European members visited this shop? Seems like a nice shop to spend a few hours.

This is heaven on earth !

Being there 3 years ago, my best experience ever !

After going around guitar shops in Germany, Belgium, Greece, The Netherlands, I ended up my two years guitar trip on TFOA.
    Amazing staff !

Ten days before my visit, I send an email ask them if they could reserve 3 guitars for me to test it.
When I arrived they welcomed me so nice , I had a tour in the shop and got to know all the sections.
The guitars I had chosen were waiting for me in a private room with an amp and a great view.
They left me alone in that room with seven guitars, Gibson Es 355,Gibson Es-275 ( Richlite Fret.), Suhr T-style, Heritage 530, Fender Nocaster reissue, Tim Braum T-style, Leaper Baum, Vigier.

After many hours I left the room and they told me that I could play any guitar I see around , even I can take it by myself and plug it in, no need to ask.
They also had three small isolated rooms that you could test any amp with any guitar.
In the whole store they were only two clients, and two employees,
80% of their sales are via internet.
If they had rooms to rent I would stay there for the night !

I really liked these guitars : Es-355, Heritage 530, Tim Braum so I pleased them to hold the guitars for few days to make up my mind.
I went back home in Greece I listened to the recordings that I had made in my laptop and I chose the Heritage 530.

Although I found this Heritage in another shop in the Netherlands 100 euro cheaper, I decided to buy it from the TFOA, because of the whole experience they had offered me.

The guitar arrived in excellent condition in a proper box.

Iam planning my next trip to TFOA next October.

This shop is highly recommended !

Half of my guitars come from there. I visit once or twice a year. Drive over, have lunch in their cozy little restaurant, spend an afternoon playing amazing guitars and amps. Sometimes I buy something, sometimes not. Great place.

It's one of the most distinguished shops in Europe. A bit expensive, but great collection and professionalism.

I haven’t been there yet (it’s on the ’bucket list’) but I bought a sunburst 2002 Gibson L5CES from them online a few years ago that I still have and play regularly (see NGD thread, 2002 Gibson L5CES), at the time I was quite pleased with their service and wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again as evidenced by the following quote from that thread:

“I must give a shout out to The Fellowship of Acoustics (TFOA | Fine, Vintage and Rare Guitars - The Fellowship of Acoustics), the dealer in the Netherlands that I purchased the guitar from. Their responsiveness, fast and professional replies, outstanding service and careful packing+shipping are the new standard by which I will henceforth measure all guitar dealers :-)”

I have not been able to decide which country is more expensive: France or Holland?

    (Italy joins the chat...)
