Well since George Benson is my guitar hero and the reason I decided to play guitar I thought I should have one of his guitars.

Only tailpiece in the business that can remotely rival that found on a Campellone in terms of sheer beauty. I totally understand this purchase now all you need is a GB signature Twin and then you can post a killer cover of Affirmation!!!

Bro, I’m so glad you got one. I totally regret selling my gb100.
After playing big archtops for so long, You will quickly realize why George made it look so easy to FLY around the fretboard. AND, those are the best tuners in the business.
    I’m happy for you bro.

I am quite impressed with the quality of the build. Right up there with a Campellone except a Campellone will have beautiful wood.
Intonation is spot on with a wood bridge.
60’s D neck. A very fast neck. GB knew what he wanted.
Nice tone. You have a huge tonal range from a sweet darkness to bell like bright. Like Joe said the tuners are really precise. Big tone in a small package. To me it looks like a hollow body Les Paul.
It was a deal I couldn’t pass on. Brand new never played for $2500.
Comes with a bullet proof case too.
When it comes to cars and guitars Japan is a tough act to follow.

I think the GB neck is the nicest neck shape ever made. I’m not sure how much they vary, The ones I've had have always been perfect ans seem consistent in shape.

What great guitars these are! They have a mid forward sound that really sings. The build quality is on the mark.So underrated. Enjoy you might find yourself really favoring this little guitar.

Congrats!! Got my '22 SB version last year and like it a LOT - enough to leave my Teles on their stands

IIRC, there was an interview with GB and he was telling about how the Ibanez guitar came to be. He was playing Guild guitars at the time so they pretty much modeled this guitar to be like the guild that he so loved.

Congrats! Great guitar! Mine’s exactly like yours. While the tailpiece looks nice it’s also heavy, I’d have preferred something more nimble. And if you ever remove the pickups and look at them from below, you might find things look sloppy. Otherwise this is just one helluva guitar.

Spent a few hours with mine today and man it never disappoints. I can’t quantify what makes the neck of the GB10 so special, but special it is. It’s effortless. I do wish the GB10 didn’t weigh so much (it’s by far my heaviest hollowbody) but otherwise it’s damn near perfect.

Yup it's heavy for sure for its size
