I have two Peterson 100G (G100?) amps, one went out and the other one is starting to. They have beautiful sound for an archtop. I would love to get them fixed, I have schematics. Someone suggested going to a Hi-Fi store. Any suggestions? Thank you very much. Jim

I'll certainly call them. Two endorsements is great. I'll be going through Tucson in beginning of August. Thanks!

Definitely do call them...in advance. Rainbow implemented a strict No Contact policy during the COVID-19 pandemic that (at least last time I checked) was still in effect: No walk-in business, no access without an appointment, you have to call them when you're standing at their front door at your designated appointment time before they'll unlock the door.
Seems draconian, but they are universally regarded as the best musical equipment repair place in all of Tucson, so... :shrugs:

Actually, they have eased off on the appointments only policy for the repair shop, though it is still in place for the guitar store. (They’re in different parts of the building)
But you should call first to get an idea of when the work can be done and how long it will take.
Guitar work can take a while because they’re busy and currently understaffed, but I wouldn’t take my guitars anywhere else.
Amp repairs are done off-site by a very competent guy who has been doing it for many years. I don’t know how long that might take.

I just called them and you're right, John Markovich is the tech and he is working on amps away from the store since covid, sort of a semi retirement. I'm going to call him later when he supposedly does business. Thanks again.
