Looking for sound samples of floating pickups for a Heritage Eagle

I’m looking for a replacement for this pickup on my 88 Heritage Eagle. I like the sound of it but it’s a bit noisy. I’m looking at Kent Armstrong at my friend’s suggestion, and Lindy Frailin didn’t make a floating pickup (I asked him).

Rich Severson has consistently great sound. At least one of those guitars in the review below includes the Kent Armstrong 12 pole PAF-0 humbucker. Note that the video is more than two hours long and there's an awful lot of talking to fast-forward through to hear the guitars. I didn't do that, so I don't know all the pickups and guitars he demonstrated. I get the impression Rich doesn't really edit much.

The first guitar looks like a KA floater, much darker and fatter than I ever got with mine.

This one sounds more like my experience with the KA 12 pole pickup, at least with a Benedetto style archtop:

You can try searching YouTube for "Kent Armstrong floating pickup" and find a bunch of videos, most of them recorded terribly and often by people who also can't really play guitar. In a couple of cases they don't sound any different than the cheap OEM pickups that came originally on instruments, probably because the recording is so poor.

Although it doesn't really matter. You with your guitar are going to sound different than anybody putting up a demonstration video on YouTube. You might get a rough idea but it's going to be far from exact.
