I found my strings....the search is over. You can have the greatest guitar, but if the strings are not right, then you won't want to play it. Strings are so personal, and absolutely important for each individual player.
These went on my Samick Jz4, and I absolutely LOVE them!

LaBellas forever! They are the only flats maker making a light set plus they got the purple on them which means tone.

I am a fan of the Bensons but since i tried Dogal Expressive flats, they have become my number one choice for flatwounds.

String choice is indeed very personal. I haven't used flatwounds on any guitar in probably 15 years, and every time I have tried them in the last 45 years they've been off the guitar within a week or two. Not my cuppa. I use SIT 1150 or Pearse Jazz rounds on electric guitars, Martin Retro Monels on acoustics.
Glad you found a set you like!

I use GHS Pat Martino Flatwound 16s.

I second that. The Dogal Expressive flats are in a total different league.

I am playing TI JS112 on a Heritage Eagle Classic, but I'm going to try the Dogals. I was looking at the R40C (12-16w-20-28-34-46) since they seem a little closer to the JS112, but I was wondering about that wound B string. Will it damage the nut since it must be thicker than any B I ever used and if I go back to a plain steel in a B I'm worried about buzzing (or having to change the nut). Otherwise. there is the R40D (12-16-24w-32-42-52), which seems closer to the GB112s, which were not as good a match (to me) as the JS112 for my Eagle Classic. Thoughts?
