I just ordered a combo from Razers edge. A stealth 10 and a lunar 200. I’m sure the two are compatible, but I also ordered a quilter 101 reverb head. I’m not sure about the power…if it is larger than the cab will take. Has anyone used the combos and can tell me if the two are good with each other and also if you like the tones and which you prefer for jazz.
    thanks.

I owned a Quilter 101R for a couple of days, years ago, and hated it. I returned it, and the seller said he was getting lots of returns. Some people seem to like it, though. It's a matter of personal taste. I've come close to buying a Luna in the past, but was able to control my GAS. The examples I've seen/heard online are very good. I have a Stealth10ER, and it's a nice cab, but I don't often use it. It's fine, but I have other cabs that I prefer for different reasons.

I chime in hesitantly, to avoid any disparaging flavors. There are no bad amps on the market today, just different. Tastes and needs differ, too.

As sgosnell said, the Quilter 101R divides opinions. It's a very bright amp, in my opinion more at home with surf, country and Western swing vs. traditional jazz guitar. Quilter's oldest current model, ripe for a successor with features found in SuperBlocks and 202 ToneBlocks. I once compared the 101R side by side with a DV Mark Micro 50. The closest I got was with the Quilter's bass eq rolled to the hilt, and DV Mark's at minimum. The reverb is fine, contrary to DV Mark's. Behind a cluster of fx pedals, the 101R becomes what all Class D amps are: an uncolored yet "intelligent", i.e. tweak-able, power amp.

As for the Luna 200R, which I also have: another take of the ICEPower power source/power amp module found inside e.g. Milkman, Henriksen, Seymour Duncan, many bass amps, even Fender's Tone Masters. The differences come from the preamp stage. A very straightforward amp, whose forte is the mid-eq with a variable shelf frequency. Wish I could find the sweet spot there. Clean all the way, so a one-trick pony in a way. OTOH, an on-board overdrive channel today is like a hotel's restautrant: everybody knows where it is but rather go elsewhere for a dinner adventure. My votes land on both sides: Quilter SuperBlock US for great, albeit still bright tone, and the reverb-less TC Electronic BAM200 for a warmer jazz tone and more power. There's a gaping market opening between these two, which the Luna would fill if it were half the physical size.

this is one sound and artist I like a lot using his 101r. Just for reference. I love this sound a lot. The cab speaker, not sure about. Guitar likewise.

The Quitter 101 is truly one of the worst amps I have ever had the displeasure of trying. Hey but it's lightweight and doesn't have fragile t00bs!!!!!!!!!

The Little Jazz amp reverb doesn’t sound good if you turn it too far up. But, if you keep the reverb turned only to 9 o’clock or so it sounds fine. I use it routinely, although I do add additional reverb with my pedal board.

Heads & cabs? Here's some fun. Some are gone, some still in the main bunker, all wonderful-sounding gear:

My current everyday cab at home is my Vibrolux Reverb. It died, and I can't find anyone to resurrect it. It takes up its space, so I figured I might as well use it. With the two 10" speakers in parallel, it gets as loud as I want with the SBUS volume below noon and the volume on the Epi ES175 at about 1.5. I have a Toob Metro BG+, but I don't use it much at home, because the VR cab sounds better. No surprise there, but the VR ain't about to go out the door other than to go for repairs if I ever find someone to do the work. The tech I used to use got old like me, and retired. If anyone knows a reliable shop east of downtown Houston I'm listening. I'm not willing to go further than that, because the SBUS through the VR cab sounds at least as good as the working VR to me.

Is it an old Vibrolux? If so it might be worth it to take the amp out of the speaker box and ship it to someone. They are pretty easy to remove.

Oh, I'd remove the chassis. No need to schlep the cabinet anywhere. It's not that old, late '80's AFAICT, silverface. I'm not going to pay for shipping, though.
