I love the V profile necks. Hard to find these days. I own a Loar LH-309 and love it! Looking for a second archtop with a cutaway for higher fret access, but it needs to have that V-profile! Would like to try a different manufacturer this time. Any body have any suggestions for me? I've got $800 to spend.
Thanks in advance.

Get a rasp and some sandpaper. Any decent-sized C or D or U neck can be re-shaped into a V-neck.

You are kidding? I would never start carving into a neck of a brand new guitar. That is absolutely bonkers! It may go wrong, and the value if the instrument instantly turns to poop.

Well, whatever you find for $800 new with a cutaway will be an inexpensive instrument that has less value after you drive it off the lot, or you might find a crappy but totally functional old Kay / Harmony / Höfner drekstick. IMO, YMMV, and so forth.

I've got a Stonebridge archtop, made by Furch. It's very much an acoustic instrument - super light - with a solid cedar top and a good quality KA floater. The neck is a lovely V that is a little slimmer and sharper than a Baja Tele but still supremely comfortable. Mine cost me £950. I don't know how easy they are to find outside Europe.
Here it is with squeaky round wounds on. Judge the guitar not the playing

Loar Guitars make some large neck V shape Archtops at very low prices. Find a used one for your searching price
