Needless to type, I was drooling over the Super 400s and the Byrdlands.

Wow, there are a LOT more archtops there than at the shows I’ve gone to!

Was anybody buying or was it just a roomful of lookers?

$7k for a simple H550? That’s exactly why I’ve only ever been to 1 guitar show. But the CC Super was definitely priced to sell. I don’t get hauling so many guitars out at outrageous prices.

Lots of people walking about and out with guitars in cases, but not archtops, at least not that I saw anyway.

I wish I could've walked out with one of the Super 400s or one of the Byrdlands, or both.

There were several there I found to be over priced. I go for one, just to get out of the house and for two, to gawk at the guitars and amps, not to buy. I have more guitars/amps than I'll ever need.

I was there Saturday, most of the stuff was way overpriced. I saw a lot of guitars with non-original parts and they were asking premium dollar for them, unreal! You can buy a brand new ES335 for about $3,300 dollars, I saw about 6 used recent ones for over $3,800 !!!! This show is not what is used to be years ago, you used to be able to find good deals, not anymore....

    Cheers,
    Arnie...

If it's old, it has to be worth more though?
