I came across this 2005 Wes Montgomery on Reverb. No affiliation and not meant as heads up on it being available.
There's a very short clip of it being played. It's being played through a Fender Deluxe Reverb. They were not sure of the strings.

Sounds like an L5 with the tone rolled off a bit. Deluxe is a great fit. You buying?

Nice looking and sounding guitar, but their description on Reverb is not helpful:
“It has the original Johnny Smith Humbucker. Gold fighting has a little bit of wear on it but not much. A couple small spots on the tailpiece as pointed out in one of the photos. A little bit aware on the bridge”

Maybe some day. But not today.

If I was seriously considering I would fly down and check it out in person.

Could roll off the treble a little less for my tastes, and I *like* a dark tone. Even a short demo can showcase the full tonal range. But, yup, sounds like an L-5 as skiboyny noted.

That's the tone I live for. Hence why I posted.
