Quilter Superblock UK died just after end of warranty

Service and support are the Quilter’s weak point here in Europe. They have only one dealer, Thomann in Germany, and luckily I have not had to try their guarantees.

I came to feel the same way about AER here in the States and discontinued ownership of their products. I kind of figure that if I lived in Europe, I would use AER and Mambo amps. Here in the USA, I use Henriksen and Quilter.

I have reached out to Thomann, which claims a 3-year warranty.

Thomann replied immediately with instructions on returning the SBUK to them for warranty repair.

Thanks, Herbie, for the heads up – I would never have thought of checking with Thomann. A lesson in reading the fine print.

Thomann has earned my absolute loyalty. I received a brand new SB UK from them, less than two weeks after I sent in the original for repair. The box was opened, so I suspect they even made sure the new one worked before they sent it to me.

This is how a company keeps clients. I will be sure to recommend them to anyone.
