Time to thank for your support through the past year! Over 120 units delivered is not quite a record but nevertheless kept the business on course and in the black. While resellers retreated, direct sales remained strong, proving that product awareness and demand persist. USA was again the main market, with UK trailing hot on the heels.

The successor situation is open, but I've decided to carry on. Health and circumstances permitting, 2025 will be business as usual. Health? 78 years and under loupe, nothing serious so far. Circumstances? The workshop may have to relocate in a hurry, causing disruptions in the workflow. A very foggy situation.

Commitment? Last week I took delivery of almost 70 SICA and Jensen speakers. Some 90 now in stock, for all Toob and Metro models. A waitlist for Metro 8GP will cleared in early January.

Wishing you a Peaceful Yuletide and a Happy New Year!

Sounds like a good position overall.

I know that I would like to order a TOOB or two once I can get my act together and make decisions.

The 8GP is on the list along with a 6.5FR, 10S, and something sporting an N12D. They're all so cool and cute!

Thanks Gitter, same to you. I haven't had the need for a Toob (but who knows with my aging future), but it's great to have you here, and I enjoy reading about them and your positive biz updates. A nice, "think out of the box" product.

    Dear Markku,

Thank you for carrying the torch. It’s a great news for us guitarists that Toob speakers will remain available.

I can only witness the outstanding quality of your speakers. I have 3 of your models and I play them daily.

All the best and merry Christmas.

Happy Christmas Markku! People are still stopping me in the street and asking what on earth it is I am carrying around… just the other night I had a bandmate take a photo of my Toob Metro… the legend continues

    Happy Christmas from Germany!
The bass player in my band can’t decide whether my Toob Metro looks more like an air conditioning or a kitchen appliance. That doesn’t keep me from playing it daily and taking it to the few gigs I have.

Keep up the good work and have a great holiday season!

    I own 3 as well – a Metro 6.5 and 8 in NYC, and a 6.5 in Paris.

Hmmmm.... I probably need a Metro 8 in Paris....

Thank you, Markku, for keeping at this, and making the world a better place – which is what you are doing with these easily-transportable, fabulous-sounding cabs. Making it a better place, at least, for those of us looking for lighter equipment.

The same happened to me once I took my Metro to the bigband rehearsal.

"The bass player in my band can’t decide whether my Toob Metro looks more like an air conditioning or a kitchen appliance."

My bandmates are thinking of an air heater or of a snow cannon.

However I love that little tiny speaker.

    Hyvää Joulua Markuu!

Thank you all so much! I get goose bumps from your kind comments and wishes. If there are more to come still, let my thanks extend to them as well, to avoid further bumps from my side. I'm truly enjoying the holiday time with my family, especially grandchildren - playing Santa to the 4-year old, talking philosophy and audio with the 19-old, and anything with the two others in between. After a couple more days of overeating, I'm ready to return to the workshop and sink my teeth into the 8GPs for starters. You certainly have energized me!

Cheers, and a Happy New Year!

    Markku
