I especially like the fairly thick neck profile. The MHS pickups are very nice. The ebony finish looks great on the bandstand too.

My only criticism (a small one at that) is that I wish it had normal vol/tone wiring instead of the '50s wiring.

The process to change that is not so easy on an ES style guitar so I'm learning to work with the 50s wiring - all the sounds still can be achieved it just takes a little more fiddling.
I'm glad we failed the brief. 335's do the job.

Yup - you never know unless you’ve tried it, had it in hand for a while and played it out. Well done.

Thoman does have some sharp looking Heritage models.

With all the fuss about new Gibson quality and the higher price I would definitely see if Heritage is doing a better job.

I also really dont like the 335 output jack on the front. I know I would ding my guitar or do something stupid

I like that Heritage locates it on the side.

Their natural model looks pretty sweet.

Im not gonna try to talk you out of buying a guitar. Everyone needs another guitar.

Isn't the neck on the Ibanez SA guitar preety slim? I'm looking for a chunkier neck profile. Thoughts?
