I guess that's another good thing about real, pardon, acoustic instruments. A lot of that kind of bad taste would turn them into wall edelkitsch.

Too much good taste can have the same effect though

I'm out in the world with my job all day, and among women that are under 40 (or maybe 45?) Hello Kitty is pretty popular. You think it's just for her kids? Well then why is she carrying a Hello Kitty backpack? At work?

I'll take Hello Kitty over Hello Donny any day....

There was a forum thread about the effect that Trump's proposed tariffs may have on guitar prices, I could not find it. But now that he's in the guitar marketing business, I guess we need not worry, he'll make guitar parts exempt from the tariffs.

I'd take Hello Donny, you can trash the guitar on stage, and it will actually make sense.

This got mentioned on the Jimmy Kimmel show . For only $10,000 you can get one signed by the man himself.

Support your local grifter in chief.... and simply ignore the fact that you have no clue re: the quality of these guitars or who made them.

It's been done but for rock n' roll rednecks - then again, country now-a-days is just rock with a southern accent (it is a derogatory term though) -- Westone Concord SX

What a surprise (not that I have bothered to watch the video) ... hardly an instrument for a grown-up man to play (with a clin d'oeuil to Frans Brüggen).

I scrolled through the video and did not see anything to keep me from buying one. Looks like it is built well.

love it. how do the controls work? is it a single volume connected to the CC, and the humbucker is disconnected?

When the CC was added we swapped a push-pull pot so since I 99.9% use the CC that's the down position but in the pull position just the humbucker is available like the stock guitar.
