I’ve referenced this guitar in a couple of posts recently. Almost sold it a while back during an extreme GAS attack. Glad I didn’t. Here’s a clip I did of Barney Kesssl’s solo on Let’s Cook. Please pardon the clams. It’s a work in progress! Guitar is strung with TI Jazz Swings 13-53, playing thru a Bartel Starwood.

Well played and a very nice guitar. I hear a lot of it’s acoustic sound in the clip and it sounds very good to my ear, which leads me to suspect AT is well built, uses good woods and has a thin finish? Is the finish nitro?
What kind of CC pickup does AT use? A true copy with the big magnets?
Very interesting guitar! Nowadays my GAS makes me look at CC-pickup guitars. This is a nice candidate perhaps….. ;-)

Thanks. AT uses their own in-house pickup. It doesn’t use big magnets like the originals, but it sounds the part. I swapped it out for a more accurate repro from ccpickups.co.uk Honestly, both pickups sound quite similar. I’d be happy with either.
It’s a very well made guitar. Fit and finish are top notch. Yes, finish is nitro.

hey telephone, nice job and the guitar sounds great. Didn't I see someone list one of these on here a few months back?

Very nice sounds and playing!Bruce Forman is raving about that guitar in this podcast: Jazz Guitar Life Podcast: Ep 2 – Jazz Guitar Life Podcast – Apple Podcasts
From Minute 32 on.
I own an AT 105 which is their version of the 175.
Still like it.

I didn’t check all the clips though…
