I bought a di-box in the store and I am very pleased with the guitar recordings.

What is a "di-box"?

(Ignore the "access to this page has been denied" stuff, that's just dumb web design by Sweetwater).

What brand and model did you by? Active or passive?
Thomann lists 179 models in the PA department ranging from 14 EUR to 2000+ EUR for a Rupert Neve design 8-channel 19" rack model.

What are you direct injecting it in to?

I put this DI box together a few years ago, and it's frickin' awesome! The transformer on top is a UTC A-11, which I pulled off the back of some discarded film equipment. I looked it up and it is the transformer used by Motown detroit. The guitars and bass would all plug into a mixer with an A-11 on each channel. Everything was all direct, except for the drums and singing.
I took a cheap DI and exchanged the little transformer inside with the A-11, which had to be mounted on top because it wouldn't fit inside. But it looks cooler that way.

Lovely. Really.

The brand is ART. 60 EUR. Do you use battery or phantom power? And is this the Alumitone strat?

There have been several threads and posts discussing this. ART products are wonderful - solid, extremely well made, free of gimmicks and unnecessary “features”, easy to use, reliable, and very fairly priced. I’ve never used their DI, but based on 30 years of using their products, I’d buy it with no hesitation at all. They know good sound and every one of their products that I’ve used has been excellent.

We have a Reddi Box at the club in which I’ve played regularly for years. The Reddi is a $1k tube DI that’s widely regarded as one of the best sounding DIs in the world. I’ve tried my ART MP side by side with it, and they’re so close I couldn’t reliably tell one from the other.
It has one each I & O balanced XLRs, plus unbalanced single I/O 1/4” jacks. They’re still readily available new at about $110 US.

I have the ART Tube MP, very reliable unit with a nice warm sound. I have the Baggs, I preferred that with instruments with a piezo pickup due to the effective EQ. And I have a SansAmp Para Driver DI which is very good, particularly plugging straight into a powered speaker; the advantage of this and the Baggs is that it has EQ options compared to the ART; I usually used the ART in front of my AI Clarus 2r just to warm things up a little bit (I also use it in the effect loop and was never sure which I preferred), so I was able to use the onboard EQ with the amp.
Dutchbopper used an ART directly to the digital interface to his computer for sound in his videos, and sounded great. I think the only EQ that he used was within the DAW, sending the full and basically unadulterated signal of the guitar into the computer.
Nowadays, I just plug straight into my tweed Deluxe style amp, not even any reverb. I have become allergic to all the farting around with pedals and what have you. Even more, I prefer to play acoustically when at home. Amplification is necessary when playing out.
