Casually looking for a CES type of instrument for low dollars, I ran across this. Korean made I think, the blurb states they were trying to attain 2 goals in the design- Wes' L-5 and Scotty Moore's L-5. Neck P/U is toward the Bridge and Bridge P/U is towards the Neck. Coil tap electronics. Laminate of course. However for $550 w/case it's got my attention. Anyone owned or played one? TIA

I like the idea of the pickup positioning.

I had an Eastwood Hi-Flier before. It was a well made guitar.

I've had a Doral for many years now, probably over 20. Love it. Probably the best-made guitar I own. But I don't really play jazz. (I'm too inconsistent to take lessons.) I play early r 'n'r, rockabilly, blues. But this is surely a jazz-capable instrument. It'd probably be the last guitar I'd ever sell.
