I seldom order anything from Amazon any more because their delivery is very slow if you're not a Prime member, and some companies will match their prices, for example -- Lowest Price Guarantee | zZounds

I tend to use eBay if the Amazon seller also has an eBay store. I get fast and free shipping just like I would if I ponied up the prime money to Bezos. He can pound sand for all I care.

^ Same. I got Walmart plus which is $100 per year instead of $139 for Amazon prime. And you get free same day delivery from the store on groceries (and the rest of the in store items). So $100 for free 2 day shipping and same day from store delivery instead of $139 for only free 2 day shipping. Hmm..

Strange.... someone sent me an AMZN gift voucher so I added a set of these strings to an order I placed. But it said the strings did not qualify for free shipping (on a $35 total order), and advised me to check other sellers. I did that and found another seller that offered them for $12.44 (rather than $12) that did qualify for the free shipping.

But what was really strange was that another seller was selling a "like new" ("used") set of these strings for a higher price. What does that even mean? Hopefully that the packaging was damaged, and not that some guy put them on his guitar and didn't like the way they sounded so returned them!
