easy playing neck yes
build quality is great

heavily built and yes a slightly
compressed sound probably
owing to the thick top as Never suggests
(which I find to be an advantage)
(Never knows his stuff)

So a thick sound when you dig in
which is evident on the excellent examples you’ve see here

a JP20 I tried once had the best
neck I ever played ….
