Has anyone tried it yet with a jazzier guitar?

Not yet. The amp isn't released until October. But consider me in the interested crowd.
I have a tube Tweed Bassman clone. It has a great jazz tone. The Tonemaster solves the two major downsides when taking it to a gig: the weight and lack of reverb.

I hope they make more tweed tone masters. 410 is a bit big for me.

The bassman in general is my favorite Fender amp.

I played a reissue bassman (tube amp version) at a music fest, it was a lot like my blues Jr, but bigger. I liked it, but I just don't need bigger. I never take the blues Jr over 4,

Yes, I just realised that the TM Bassman takes space exactly four times more than my current jazz combo!

It is a question of transport, but a question of the stage space too. My gigs are often in such joints that my current 10"x10"x10" combo just fits in.

This will be an amp I absolutely do not NEED but will be very difficult for me not to WANT.
