Im trying to find the list that shows the construction of the various model #s. I was sure I saw it here but cant find it now and after over an hour of searching the WWW havent found it. I read many conflicting descriptions. It seems there was a 1)hand carved 2)solid pressed 2 custom) machine carved 3) hand carved 4) laminate.....??? Apparently these were Terada built for Vestax? D Angelico offers no info on that part of "their" history. Anyone can point me in the right direction Id appreciate it. Thanks

Thanks, I forgot I had seen it in a post from TRM in for sale. What got me going was after hearing very positive responses regarding the NYLs from Terada I was listening to the current D'A demos with Vinnie R on their Korean made lam guitars. Had me wondering how he would sound on the (now discontinued) but highly regarded Epi Emp regent from peerless (with a good pickup) not to mention the also once well regarded peerless Monarch solid pressed top. Just for kicks I listened to some other players demos on the same guitars thinking that mabey I was hasty parting ways with my Korean and Japanese gits. To my ear VR sounded the best of all on a +- $1700 guitar compared to all the formentioned DA copys and quite a few "better" guitars. I think pretty well all gave really good value and could become favorites. I went and listened to all the good NYL demos (thanks to you guys) bearing in mind its listening to a computer so I dont put to much stock in what it sounds like but after a bunch of listening and liking most of it I was once again reminded when almost 60 yrs ago when I told my teacher I needed a better guitar he replied "the guitar dont play you kid...you play the guitar"
