I played this through the Pod Express using the clean model and a bit of hall reverb. It's hooked up to my computer by USB with no recording interface. I recorded in in Reaper and there are no edits, no eq and no other plugins ... just what came out of the Pod Express.

I find the editing function on this unit to be really confusing. I miss having editing software but on the other hand, I feel like I'm making decent progress for a very limited amount of effort over just a couple days.

    Sounds nice.

It is a pity the USB audio is only 48k so you need a sample rate conversion for CD quality. And sample rate conversion is sometimes problematic depending on the software used.

It’s sounding wonderful for right out of box!

Nice recording. Of your last three, I prefer the second (IbanezTesting - 07 - 10 - 2024 - 2-Master) which I find very balanced and focused. I feel like the former is charming for harmonics, but a little too scooped and slightly boomy for my ears with your (very resonant) type of music. The third is beautiful, but less rich in harmonics and dynamics than the previous ones.

Thanks for the comments. I very much agree with you. The third is really just a quick test of this modeler. It has none of the post -recording sweetening that's on your preferred example. I'm pretty sure I can get there with a bit more effort. The benefit is that it is an easier and much more reliable way to record and seems to be much less prone to noise. I'm also learning that the Ibanez sounds much better to my ear than the Mustang. On the other hand, the Mustang is much nicer to play. So for now it seems like the Mustang will be the guitar I take to play and the Ibanez with be to guitar I use to record.

Jim you should really be a demo artist for these different devices you demo. You always sound great!

Here's the latest. I have added some EQ and room verb after the fact on this one. I've only heard it on headphones (for reasons that are too hard to explain) but at least in the cans it sounds really pretty.
