I love BM but I find these videos unlistenable.

Monder has said he used Chord Chemistry/Ted Greene .. ALOT..

so taking that into account..all of the examples in the chart..do them in all 12 keys..you should have enough chords now for any need

    so DbMA7b5 = Eb13 = A7#9#5 and so on

now the thing is these guys know how to use the scales these chords come from in all keys..

Bb melodic minor seems to work for the above chords but so do Db and Ab Major with some slight modifications

In a vid I saw long ago Monder ran some exotic scales over some basic chords with amazing sound results

while some may not "get" Monder..those that hear beyond what he is playing do..David Bowie did.

Yeah, I mean, what was the context, what is he attempting to illustrate? I shouldn't have to guess and/or transcribe it to find out. Was the entire session like this? If so, seems pointless, I could learn as much watching clips of him playing live.

For me the main issue was audio quality. I could hear he was doing some cool stuff but it was recorded poorly.
