    Loved Oscar in that trio.
    Loved trios without drums, for that matter. Oscar Peterson and Monty Alexander are favorites. Wynton Kelly cut some great sides with Paul Chambers on bass and Kenny Burrell on guitar. And it's the Wynton Kelly trio backing Wes on "Smokin' at the Half Note." Sure, that album has drums, but the interplay of piano, bass, and guitar is "as good as it gets."
