Arpeggio fingering question

Mick..the OP is new to guitar... While HR stuff is great for experienced players..I think it is a bit like putting a first time driver in a super charged corvette.

I meant his advice re: fingerings, not necessarily his more advanced ideas.

It gets complicated when you attempt to make music out of arpeggios ( ), especially when you have altered chords.

An arpeggio study I wrote (started on), some of the phrases could be fingered differently. It all depends on where you've been on the fingerboard and where you're going, how you want to phrase your lines - with slurs, slides, etc.

I think this question has come up before (what question hasn't?) because I had this on my hard drive - there are so many ways to finger the same notes.

And then if you break up the arpeggios, you wallow in this sort of mire....
