I have a piece of shit strat copy that I use for alternate tunings (mostly for fingerpicking), and I've been meaning to tune it to one of Blood's tunings. This is a good reminder for me!

Heard Ulmer around the time he released Are You Glad To Be In America. At The Bamboo Club on Queen West.
Toronto university stations in the 80's were playing lots of harmolodic type stuff, Whitenoise, Silk Stockings, Rainer Wiens.
Ulmer chastised the white opening band (might have been Whitenoise (Bill Grove - front.htm) for not following their own culture.
